    Little Big Lies

I'm hooked. Just rewatched the first episode tonight.

I think this series is going to be stellar.

GF read the book, so we are watching it. I like the concept of not knowing who was actually murdered until the end.

It might possibly be the fact that David Kelley went to my high school, is a rich and famous Hollywood writer and married Michelle Pfeiffer that bothers me.

Hey man, I'm young enough that hot middle age bitchy housewives still turn me on… don't ruin this for me!

Same here. Wife thought it would be nice time to watch together. Good cast, but boring and tedious. Same with This is Us. Ugh. Now she just asked me to leave the room or be quiet.

ah yeah, not what I expected, going to rewatch when I have some time, it all happens so fast that you need to watch it on slow mode, watched the last episode with a chick and she was really disturbed by the domestic violence scenes

pretty cool show for sure, well done

favorite line "we are going to review our alcohol policy at school functions"

    nicole kidman has fake tits

anything else? I could analyze for hrs

So, the nudity is disappointing? That's disappointing. I'm really digging the post-Fargo, more voluptuous Reese Witherspoon.
I guess I'll get to it.

Take a bow David E. Kelley & Liane Moriarty (writers) and Jean-Marc Vallee (director), awards will be imminent.

Excellent series, with great acting and superb writing. Underpinned by a spot on soundtrack.

Loved the reveal on the victim. Had me guessing right up to that point.

Would love to see more, but if it ended here I wouldn't be disappointed.

I had guessed correctly the bully and the father of the kid by episode 4. No clue as to the victim up until the end though.

The soundtrack was good but the only silliness was that the 1st graders were actually into that music.

    Overall, excellent production.

I watched it all the way through and loved it, but way more so for the pacific coast vistas. Bigby creek bridge. Just stunning when all you see are pine trees, rolling hills, and highway (deep south). Makes total sense 100m+ want to live out there.

If you were hung up on the bitchy-ness you were watching for the wrong reason IMO. Nichole Kidman? eyes wide shut. that's your ticket.

Wife and I thought it was awesome, bummed it was a one off but I guess the book ends like the show and they aren't planning to turn it into a series. My wife had the whole thing figured out by episode 5 but just wasn't sure which one of the women was going to kill him. Nicole Kidman's performance was awesome imho.

I had Joseph pinned for the victim, thought maybe he would get a little rapey with Madeline in front of Jane or something. Anyway, A+ for the series from me.

    Lightbulb

I absorbed this steaming pile of cliches while my wife watched it and I read other stuff in the same room.

brutal part for me: one of these skanks looked exactly like a chick from my nursing school who was a real douche. Whenever she was all upset I'd have a little laugh...."haha...fuck you Sarah". Wifey was not amused...."don't take 'TV Sarah's' side, fuck you too".

good times in the living room.

Speaking of quite good, check out Jane (Shailene Woodley) in Snowden. I had no idea she hated wearing clothes so much.

That was my prediction too, except with Perry the wife beater. I was close, but not quite. They planted that gun and never used it, just used the threat of it showing up at some point, which was clever. I thought it was very well done and my wife said it was significantly better than the book.
