trail recommendations for Colorado Springs this weekend?

hello all,

headed to the area for a wedding and then some skiing, but skiing looking sub-optimal for a bit which means ill probably opt for a bike for at least a few days. the front range trail conditions page doesnt seem updated that regularly.

Go to bike shop?

Any trail recommendations? just looking for a couple hours type of thing, close to town.

Palmer Park in the middle of the Springs is probably dry. You could ride there for as short or long as you feel, all kinds of different trails to link together.

Ride around inside Garden of the Gods?

Just about everything is dry, so you should have plenty of options.

I'm not too familiar with any of the riding around the Springs (I live north of Boulder), but I'd check out the Falcon Trail on the AFA grounds. Just make sure you bring proper ID with you in order to get through the North Gate.
