For owner Mike Waesche, this project was a no-brainer for a few reasons—including the simple fact that “skis and beer go together like skis and beer.”

“People will be able to lay up their own pair,” explains Waesche. “There are so many cool things that a lot of the small brands are doing with materials that really separate them and now we can show people the real difference.”

So along these lines, being that prostitution is legal in NV, Splat seems to have missed an opportunity to take it to the next level. Imagine getting laid then afterward laying up your own skis.

Huge thanks to him and the others who offered help. I actually took him up on his offer and my son skied on these. They were a little overwhelming to him. He's 5'6"-130 and had a hard time turning them on anything other than hardpack. Young bucks, spoiled by rocker.

Took my CRMs out yesterday to see if they now are the Suck.

They are not. Still a fun and turny ski.

    That is all.

Via drifting and verbiage, this thread continues to get bumped and the good word (or bad as the case may be) about RMU gets further propagated to the masses. Pretty soon the letters RMU will be a part skiing lexicon as in; "How was the skiing today?" "It was RMU, we really need a reset."

Well if you build your own skis there while drunk, they don't have to warranty them.

But I guess I'm just used to seeing the awesome reps of Moment, On3p, Praxis, and (formerly) PMGear on this board.
Ya I would have to admit I am slightly surprised that they aren't chiming in to clarify their position, because you gotta admit, everyone has a reason for doing something and I really am curious as to why they do everything they do! Never like throwing someone hot out of the gate without hearing their reasoning or side of the story, unless it is just something so utterly ridiculous that I just don't want to deal with the company. Even feel kinda bad for the folks out at Revision even though they messed up so badly, because they gave a pretty legit reason. Still for sure completely unacceptable, but ya know maybe their skis are actually pretty bomb? Maybe. Just planning sucked on their part, that's why hand building everything in house is 100% better all the time. Shout out to my guys at ON3P and all the other legends hand making quality.

I'm in line at the grocery store today and I spot a Backcountry mag in the rack. I figure they can have my $8 on this night.

    Balls deep after last chair?

This thread rules. Ski community ftw. Probably gonna keep an eye out for Backcountry Mag at the store.
    No longer stuck.

Any reason I shouldn't provide a link to this thread on RMU's FB page?

IMO that'd be a little over aggressive. Deleted or not you have to think they're aware of it.

Agreed, dude got (another pair of) free skis, no reason to hurt the company further. This is starting to feel like that time someone lost their ski instructor job because of a poster here.
