2017 NCAA Hoops
Is there no thread? I can't find it.
Where my Bmills at? Big night, X up over Cinci. Carolina/VaTech in a bit. Shit starting to heat up.
Can you believe the Hoyas beat Creighton by 20 last night? I had good seats and could've gone but opted to fly last night instead of at 0-dark-thirty this morning. Mistake.

Troy Caupain is a very Kirk Cobain-type name. Just saying. Let's go Cincy!

I had been commenting on the old thread I guess.
Fucking sucks to lose the Crosstown Shootout, always a fight, at least it's only the 3rd time in 10 years. What Trayvon Bluett did tonight was absolutely unconscious. 10-10 from the field and 30 points in the first half!?!? Didn't catch the final stat line as I'm busy pouring a drink in disgust but what he did tonight had to set some X records.
Brutal stretch for the X men: Miles Davis a key grad student and memeber of many Sweet16 teams comes back from a 15 game suspension and then quits 3 days later right in the midst of losing close games to #1 Nova, #10Butler and #8 Creighton at home.
But hey, they completed the season sweep of Georgetown this week
Bitterness aside, that was one highly entertaining game tonight against a good UC team.I still call it The Jake.

we were joking about Buett's name. Bluett! No he hit it!
Yeah the Hoyas clearly have talent, but Legacy Guy is an issue. He recruited the talent, you can't forget that for a second. And they have talent.
He just can't seem to really coach it.

Well there goes my hopes of a title: guaranteed NBA draft pick Edmund Sumner lost for the year to a blown ACL. Shit.
Lots of talent on the team for sure, just real young now with the loss of Miles Davis and Sumner.I still call it The Jake.

Been a lot of great games on lately. UK/KU was a great example on Saturday.
I still call it The Jake.

Fuck, does no one else watch this shit? Right now it's UAB-UTEP, which is like the National Directional University Acronym Championship (NDUAC)
UAB down 10 in the second but not out of it

You all suck. That was a good game with a furious finish, two teams that we're likely to see in the tournament.

Coug here but fully on for the Zags, for what should be an obvious reason (where I'm from). This is the best all around team they've put together and they're looking pretty tough. I just wish they played in a better conference. Other than St. Mary's, and BYU at home, apparently, their conference schedule is too soft to prepare them for the tourney. Hopefully they can overcome that and prevail to go deep in the dance.

Zag fan here too. Their non-conference schedule was overall weaker than in previous years too, which doesn't help. They have passed every test though.

I'm liking what UVM is doing this year in America East. Let's keep that up into March. Go Cats!

Kansas @ K-State right now on ESPN.
edit: good up and down game, k-st. made a game out of it in frenetic late action but then kinda blew it in the last :30 with bad clock management and a cfew bricks.Last edited by iceman; 02-06-2017 at 10:13 PM.

Butler-Marquette on CBSSN. Kind of interesting game because these are the only two teams to beat Villanova this year.
