Just have to say it again.

Sweet Sixteens and Skyline Chili, that's what Xavier Basketball does!

6th Sweet 16 in the last 9 years. And down their best and third best players, not too shabby.

    Nice, good looking seats too.

    Throw something at LaVar Ball.

If Cincy plays Mick Cronin defense they should be able to pull this one off. Hope it's a good one for ya in person.

What's the UCLA pedo-bear doing grabbing cheerleaders, and why is the Bearcat egging him on?

Many, many years ago I had a college buddy who was at University of Cincinnati when they were ranked in the top 10 or so - Kenyon Martin years. Anyway, they had Wake Forest (I think) and they were #1 in the country, play at Cincy and Dick Vitale was calling the game.

UC pulled the upset and my buddy stormed the court along with everyone else. As the story goes, and as many would attest, blasted drunk out of his mind (Cincy was one of the few arenas in D1 that sold beer at the time) my buddy veers off from the cheering crowd and seeks out a smiling Dick Vitale to scream 3 feet from his face, flying two strong middle fingers in his direction: FUCK YOU DICKIE V!!! WHERE YOUR DUKIES NOW?!?!

I have a feeling it was kinda like that tonight for some lucky South Carolina fan.

A little late but it's always a great day when the Dookies lose early.

I agree. Zeros over Michigan, too. I really like Xavier, but Zona's gonna be tough.

The question is, do they keep his old man on the payroll?

Whoa. This is where I heard it first.

JT3 is a good man, but he had lost his way as a coach. Hard to believe the school made the change. I wish it had worked out. But it didn't.

Absolutely. I mean, no doubt at all in the world. Guy generates millions in donations.

Does he stick around now that they shitcanned his son is the question. Which is also the answer to the question, "Why does JT3 still have a job?" Until today at least. We'll see.

Nothing personal against Thompson - I would cash the checks too - but paying a long-retired hoops coach more than entire academic departments might chase donations away from alums who care about that sort of thing.
