RIP Anton Prijon
imho he influenced whitewater kayak design more than anybody else, ever. From his glass slalom and DR designs which won every race at least once, to the first plastic race boat [T-slalom], to creek boats with a bulkhead instead of a pillar [thanks to his development of crosslink vs linear rotomolded polyethylene iirc], to early play boats like the Hurricane, to the first whitewater designs for duo paddling....the guy evolved the sport for decades. Thanks Anton.
linkSomething about the wrinkle in your forehead tells me there's a fit about to get thrown
And I never hear a single word you say when you tell me not to have my fun
It's the same old shit that I ain't gonna take off anyone.
and I never had a shortage of people tryin' to warn me about the dangers I pose to myself.

Topolino. So far ahead of it's time.
Weren't they the first adopters of the keyhole cockpit? Arguably the biggest advance in whitewater boats. If you want me to take a dump in a box and mark it tubeless, I will. I got spare time.

Topo duo was about the most fun I have ever had extreme racing ! Dropping falls tandem was a fricking trip! The boof took some figuring out then it was money. Never paddled a topolino but it was definitely way ahead of the times. No matter where you go, there you are. - BB

T-Slalom was the first boat I ever bought new. Great boat for self contained trips. RIP Anton
