Thanks for the pics Bryan. I haven't skied Varmits since 2011 spring, so I really want to get it this year.

How does Kiwi look. I was there weekend before last and it is getting closer but still not there. I am really hoping to get it this year.

From Snowmans page today. Un f@#king real. This has turned into the season to end all seasons. Heading up tomorrow and hoping to get one day in on the top before the next storm cycle starts. If all goes as planned I'll be lapping the Gondi and 23 on Wednesday. If anyones going to be out and wants to take some runs, give me a shout.

Almost completely filled in between Varmints and MJB, I only recall that one other time. Fun to ski, super steep but wide open, each turn dropped about 30-40 feet.

Hey Mammoth locals or resident dirt bags- where can one sleep in a car over night this weekend? I've heard Von's, motel 6, and some areas east of 395 if it's not too snowy, but it's pretty dang snowy. Thoughts?

Wow! A rare Atlas Q sighting

Mammoth, at least at Main Lodge was shockingly empty. Walk on ch 1 and 3 all morning. No top.

Freshies most of the morning on main lodge side. Deeep! A bit heavy, but super fun. Couple picts to follow later.

Skied Varmints on Wednesday. I think it's been about 10 years (2005/2006?) since the last time i had skied it. On Wednesday it didn't have it's own gate and after checking with patroll to make sure it was cool, had to go down to MJB's and hike back up in order to avoid ducking under a rope. First couple turns were definitely steep but after that the snow was good. Fun stuff.

After 30" of new snow on Friday and a semi blue day on Saturday with some thick wind affected pow, winter storm warnings have been posted for the next round. This winter is relentless with another 4ft possible. Crazy stuff, as there isn't anyplace left to put any more snow around town. On another note....

Abandoned 1990's era Mercedes in the Vons Parking lot. This is what happens when people leave their car and the plow hits it a few times. License plate is still on it. Tow that piece of shit and bill the owner.

I'm back! Kids are old enough to actually make the trip fun again so we've been a little more regular after a few years of sporadic trips.

Pretty quiet today and some little pockets of untracked and windbuff. This weekend had something for everyone.

Just flew over you guys, looks like a beauty of a day in the Sierra. Snapped some pics but can't upload quite yet. Got Whitney (?) as well, such a pristine region.
