Found a phone on a LCC skinner today. Turned it into the Alta Marshal if you or anyone you know is looking for it.

My typical partners have had issues this week too. Makes it rough to get out sometimes. Anyone looking for a someone to go on the occasional dawn patrol, I'd love to meet some mags and have more partners. Shoot me a pm if interested.

Here's some views from opening day, Solitude. I intended to pussyfoot around bein 1st time out since severe calf hamstring tear-but snow was awesome, and even my old ^%# skied moguls and a few short steep hits.

Good times, definitely crusty on southern aspects, though.
Next week looks like it could get interesting.

Things were pretty spongy yesterday with a few inches of windblown new on top. Some stout wind slabs on the higher ridgelines, but skiing well below. Chilly, but face shots with 4" of blower today.

    inbounds or out. always sunday.

in fact I've come to appreciate the Mo's around here, at least the honest ones, they will always choose the pew over pow on any given sunday.

    Sure looks like it.

5" of heavy snow today, almost of the freezing rain and graupel category. Needed a scraper for my goggles. 26F at the base of the canyon, 32 in Alta. Roads were basically dry below White Pine.

Yeah. Same attitude the wife has. I'm just bitter because last week Saturday was the day and I went sunday.

I'll be solo at Alta tomorrow if anyone wants to grab a few laps during the storm or beers after. PM me or say hi to the guy in a blue jacket/black pants/black helmet/solid white goggles. This is my first full winter here, hoping to meet some of you out there or on a skin track.
