Yup. I'll relisten to every episode this fall. I've read and reread a whole lot on the topic and I think this podcast does a better job than anything else at bringing out the humility that helps us not die in the mountains. Thank you.

Please do another season. I’ve really enjoyed the format and presentation, and your blend of information and levity is just right for me. No, I haven’t pitched in. Yes, I will.

I'll do some more episodes. It's tough to get the stars aligned properly.

If anyone is contributing money as payment for an anticipated product - they should stop.

I hope you'll do more, Covert, they're great! Hopefully the Utah center keeps working on theirs as well...

If anyone is super bored, I interviewed Ben Pritchett, who will be the forecaster for the Gunnison and Sawatch zones of CO this winter: Episode 18 Ben Pritchett

I know it is four years later but just wanted to say that people still are finding this podcast and deriving immense value from it. I just binged all the episodes over two days and will be keeping it in my list for periodic re-listens. Thank you Covert.

You are welcome. I'll have to listen to it again and see if I still believe everything I said

Ain't that the truth - for all of us.

When I discuss online presentation methods (on any topic) and engaging the listener, I point to Slide as an example of how to do it right.

So, it's been a crappy off-year and hopefully I'll be on skis this coming Fall. I got out of my normal groove and re-listened to the series now instead of October.

I got to thinking ... since I got hip to this podcast after the third season was over, I didn't think to subscribe. The Patreon page doesn't have on option to send a one time payment, so I took this email address from Patreon: http://avalanchepodcast@gmail.com

Sure enough it's linked in PayPal, and I shot a Friends and Family donation Doug's way.

I value this podcast the way I do Tremper's book (same only different), and to my way of thinking, the existing episodes are easily worth the selling price of "Stayin' Alive ...".

So ... what d'ya say we all do the same for a righteous guy?

    ^^^ plus 1 for a re-listen ^^^

Those of you who haven't sent him some coin via PayPal for his efforts should really do so.

Scroll up a few posts for his PayPal address.

S1E13 is an annual ritual for me. Gets me every time.

S1E9 and S1E11 bring me joy and reflection whenever I need them.

    Thanks, Covert, as always.
