    Put them in ski school and then: Be OK with spending time with them on super-mellow terrain. Enjoy the greens and super easy blues with them in between lessons and let them practice what they learned.

    Wow ,so many miss the mark> Just Ski at a comfortable pace ,'' Control '' the Key word.
    once noobs start str8lining,their season and health are immediately in jeopardy.

    Learn to Turn > increase speed, slope angle, according to ability

    Ignore your buddies double diamond beckonings ,until ability and conditioning are comparable.

    >1 tip got passed up by my mentors....extra cold ,older snow can give out on turns...and lead to horrible tumble on steeps...keep speed sane for the conditions.
