FS: DPS Lotus 138 Pure 192cm Rocker 2 model w/ BD Skins.

Up for sale are a pair of DPS Lotus 138s in 192cm, pure carbon model, rocker 2 flex, OG bamboo sidewalls, in excellent condition.

I bought these 2 season ago off TGR from Alan aka Pfluffenmeister and never got around to mounting or skiing them. They have always been stored with a good layer of storage wax. As you can see in the pics they have 2 previous mounts. I was told one is for a Soly binder mounted @ 0 with a BSL ~ 310mm. I'm not sure of the other mount. Alan said the skis had around 10-12 days on them total and the matching BD skins have 4 or 5 days on them. Skin glue and plush are like new and in 10/10 shape! Skis are also in fantastic condition with no base damage or repairs. No sidewall or edge issues. A few small topsheet chips per normal use. I believe these bamboo vintage are a fair amount lighter in weight than the current lay-up and I remember folks preferring the rocker 2 to the rocker 3.

I'm pretty sure I traded a pair of MX108s for the 192s.

Thank you for trading me those 202s (even though I've only put four days on them, but they were memorable, deep, fast days).


I can't recall what the second mount is, but it looks like a frame binding (probably a Duke based on ski vintage).
Rocker 2 is less rockered than later rocker versions (having pronounced tip rocker, a flattish midski, not much tail rocker).
I had the 192s for a couple of lame seasons and never skied them, then traded for 202s.
I was highly skeptical of the whole "clown shoes" skis.
4' in 4 days showed me the light.
fast, stable, GS turns in deep pow, ending up going stupid fast in tight trees because you know you can throw-em sideways to scrub speed or slam on the brakes.
All of that was in Plums and Maestrale RSs (it felt more stable than my full-on alpine set-up (in those conditions)).
