"How It's Made"
What a hypnotic TV-viewing experience.
Right now, I'm watching them make Lange ski boots, which is relevant to this forum, but I watch a lot of episodes that have nothing to do with this.
I can lose hours watching this weird-ass show.

Agreed.
Like, "Wow, I never realized how Oreos were made. As a matter of fact, I never even wondered how they were made. But for some reason, now I'm glad I know."
After a while it's like watching a campfire. However many are in a shit ton.

I swear I've seen every episode. Didn't catch the Lange one though. I've been hungover watching a marathon and after dozing off a few times I'll realize its been like 3-4 hrs on the couch.

Saw that same Lange boot episode last night, they even put a Recco locater in the back of the cuff. I can also watch this show for hours on end on a rainy afternoon.

"If the road You followed brought you to this,of what use was the road"?
"I have no idea what I am talking about but would be happy to share my biased opinions as fact on the matter. "

Love the show but the music that plays on a loop is irritating.

Is it back on Netflix or Prime? We loved that show but it seems like they quit streaming it a while back.
FWIW, Mighty Machines is the shit. I love how all the machines get voice overs and have conversations about their jobs. It's absurd but every time one of the kids puts an episode on I find myself struggling not to sit down and watch it with them. The steel mill episode, in particular, is choice!Brandine: Now Cletus, if I catch you with pig lipstick on your collar one more time you ain't gonna be allowed to sleep in the barn no more!
Cletus: Duly noted.

Oh yeah. Mighty Machines occupied me and the kids for a long time. The car crusher was my favourite.

I love shows like that. I had a major crash skiing in Austria and ended up in stuck the hotel room with an ice pack watching a show on how bras were made. It was in German, so didn't understand a word of it, but still fascinating.
I agree it is a constitutional right for Americans to be assholes...its just too bad that so many take the opportunity...iscariot

That is my kind of television. I have a few good friends that are Manufacturing Engineers from when I was studying in the same engineering building.... I always wish I went in that direction. They get to play with some cool toys and have some great stories.
