Piggybacking on this thread
What would you reccomend as a destination for 2 pretty serious skiers on a 4 night trip? Skiing three days.
Skiing is is most important but the ability to stay in nice lodging with access to good bars and restaurants is a nice bonus.

Nice little feature on Banff in the most recent Powder mag to whet the appetite for everyone coming to visit.

Basic summary then -
- if you're there for convenience, night life and more varied terrain, stay in Banff and ski Lake Louise and Sunshine; or
- if you're there for the skiing and want the steep and deep, stay in either Golden or Revelstoke, and ski KH and/or Revy.
Either way you'll have a good time.
