Rob, those pix are inspirational... Sadly Pamola warned my wife and me off the heights many years ago, and then, in our chagrin, as we drove back out, Glooscap razzed us with a moose's behind. I'm guessing I don't have permission for Baxter's heights.

ml242 offers shots of my favorite place. That's a magnum of solace! Nice blog too.

Looks like a great trip boys, fine shots and TR ML!

Models are definitely all over the place for this weekend+ but I would bet on the Euro considering I am flying west on Sat. morning. Thank me later.

NERAX 2017 - New England Real Ale Exposition
NEARAX is about gabbing and drinking. I went solo and found conversation as I quenched a thirst. My tasting strategy: light to dark. Notes are first impression and then on further considerations as they came to mind.

    The flight:
#1 Five Sisters, 4.3% ABV, Alchemy Brewing Ltd., Edinburgh, Scotland, Several Malts and Chinook
    FI: Elegant and Accesible
    OFC: perfect session

#2 Pibrock, 7.0% ABV, Cromarty Brewing Co., Davidson, Cromarty, Scotland, Malty and a wee bit smokey
    FI: Yummy
    OFC: Sunsets and BBQ

#3 Back East Porter 6% ABV, Back East Brewing Co., Bloomfield, CT
    FI: So Typical
OFC: Standard in every good way, doesn't insist on attention

#4 Whallop 7.5% ABV, Brass Castle Brewery, Malton England, a Yorkshire Stingo
    FI: Winey
OFC: Roasted Mushrooms or Charred flank steak (not one for having another, demands attention)

#5 Norweald Stout 6.5% ABV, Branded Horn Brewing CCo, Biddeford, ME (some IBUs)
FI: Slippery, as in slides right down
OFC: Soothing to nose and palate, pushy finish but only so you'll drink some more.

#6 Imperial Stout, 7.4% ABV, Gun Brewery, Heathfield, East Sussex, England
    FI: Piney and smokey
OFC: Better have this with food!

They can have the deposit on the glass, I like its shape. Bought a t-shirt.

    Go to NERAX!

Nono, there were no vids about the summit snowfields that rob invited you too. Those are not the lines you're looking for!

Always great to get a buckethead sighting, and thanks a lot for the compliments guys.
