I think he coached or instructed down there. His wife has a veterinary practice in Bend.

You can go all the way around the top of the cliff band takes some uphill sidestepping but doable.

yes, all the way across where you can wrap around the cliff and traverse back into elk, but the gate on lift line is not the ideal way to maximize turns when getting to that reach around Some more stuff will get casual in the middle of that entire cliff band when we get even more snow, but then you can get stuck flat landing through the swamp on the way out. It's not that bad though.

fine day a bachelor today. Seemed pretty busy for Wednesday but i can't blame anyone for calling in favors to get out there today. NW skied great all morning then burned off the rest of my legs with mellow untracked runs with long slow pushes out on the flattest track this side of the Nordic center. The sun even came out for a little while in the afternoon.

Yeah, Would hit that zone from the gates above star. That trudge through the flats is no fun if you're the first one through there. Took the wife through there, once was enough for her.

Mid-week pow night sessions @ the bowl were some of the best times. Tuck the ridge line track and launch off the Upper bowl cornice. Tailgating in the Multipor lot.
