From what I've read they're now implementing their cutting edge tech in the E Class and letting it trickle up and down. Smart considering top of the line luxo-barges are never top sellers. They're still out of line price-wise to their competitors but that's like my opinion man.

I recall an article years ago that the E-class should be their most expensive car because it was better than any S-class at the time.
I asked many a Benz mechanic about that and they confirmed that the E-class was their best car but this was back in the 90's which had terrible C-class models and the S-class was uninspiring.
The 2017 Mercedes-AMG C63 S Coupe has set up bar higher than any competition...nice to see that happen

You spend a lot of time in the S65? It is certainly alone in the class of 600+hp cars that run 0-60 in over 4 seconds... My hatchback is $650 away from blowing the doors off that over priced, over weight, soon to be rusted out with no warranty selling for $11,000 at Big Klaus' Auto Haus, piece of scheisse. I like the look but I should of added the S-coupe looks better than the non AMG C-coupe which was not always the case.
