Deal - Billy Kreutzmann
Anyone else read this yet?
So many good nuggets in this book.
So Hornsby stopped playing with GD in 1993 because he felt that they weren't into it like they used to be. They weren't up to snuff.
Billy was furious when Mickey was let back in the band.
They final show in Chicago, Billy had to keep slamming his cymbals to wake Jerry up. Remind him he was on stage.
He got so fucked up and lost in a European city, he had no idea which he was in. He threw a scooter through a shop window so someone would find him and take him home. The response was just crickets.
He slept(fucked) with 13 women one night in a hotel room.Last edited by Labcabin; 10-08-2016 at 10:52 AM.

Yeah, it was an enjoyable book. What I enjoyed was how Jerry would show up with a new song and have it basically done already vs the Bobby tunes that were a work in progress.
Pretty sad about his mom.

I thought it was ok compared to Jackson, Phil, McNally books (those are so much better) . On par w Parrish's, though. Just finishing Jerry on Jerry, which has some amazing stuff in it.

Billy starts telling story, details get hazy and story morphs into 'we ate a lot of acid'. Good read for sure
