Going to a show at the Crest Theatre tomorrow night. Hotel nearby. Where should we eat?

Is Pescados still around? That place had great fish tacos and burritos. I remember the Fox and Goose being a good breakfast joint.

If its with the significant other I like the Melting Pot. They have two sides to the restaurant, the left side is more for couples and the right more for bigger parties.

Yeah with my wife. Looking for something different than Rubicon Brewing or Burgers and Brew. But good IPA is highly desirable by both of us.
Edit: Googled the Melting Pot... Fondue? Really? No thanks. I'll do it at home. You should have seen the look she gave me when I said fondue...

We love fondue but fondue restaurants are annoying and expensive.
She suggested Burgers and Brew.I didn't believe in reincarnation when I was your age either.

Too funny... the pot is a nice place though, not exactly what you'd think.
I'll try one more. If you like Japanese, Mikuni's is good and they have a big following in the area, and are getting ready to open another restaurant in Folsom. If you don't like Japanese, never-mind.

^^^ Both good options, a little spendy
Walk down K toward the Stadium, lots of bars and places to eat. Dive bar is worth having a drink at.
Thai- Coconut Thai
Sushi- Mikunis
Pizza- Hot Italian- wood fired and yum
Mexican- Mayahuel, Amazing tequila selection and its not tacos and burritos either
Go have a beer at Ruhstaller by the stadium that I built (630 K) Its really cool
Ella is also really good, amazing Whiskey collection (K street)

Looks like it's going to be Firestone Public House or Burgers and Brew. Firestone has good beer but no Pliney like B and B, but the food looks a little more varied.
Cheers!I didn't believe in reincarnation when I was your age either.

What's the name of the fancy and awesome restaurant we went to in the old firehouse around 19th and K-ish? Mulvaneys? That place was amazing!!!!!
Sacramento has some awesome food places. Firestone is good. For something similar quality but more unique location, try Hook and Ladder Manufacturing co.
Another amazing pizza & beer garden: Federalist Public House
Magpie Cafe or Ink (for breakfast)
Iron Horse Tavern is very new (I haven't been there yet)
