Sad news. His trip reports were consistently amazing. He got after it like most of us dreamed of, but few us could or did. He deserves his own thread, but I'll let someone else start it.

Met Angry a few years back. Probably the most motivated skier I have ever been around. Like the rest of you, I enjoyed watching his adventures. I was just talking about his latest trip up 3/4 to some friends yesterday. Damn.

Oh shit, AngrySasquatch…I remember going touring with Trevor a couple times his first two seasons in Golden. He definitely got after it like nobody else and just two weeks ago raising the stoke for winter across Western Canada.

    RIP

I think we all will remember him as a modern day ski bohemian. Tagging off lines we all could only dream about and bringing us those awesome raw adventure videos we all drooled about. Trevor will be remembered as a legend of the Rocky Mountain Trench. Rest in Peace Angry and thanks for bringing us so much stoke!

What sad news. Trevor brought such great energy and creative thinking to his skiing. You could just feel his infectuous joy for getting out there. Many fine lines skied that I enjoyed experiencing through his posts. I'm sorry for the loss. Condolences to friends and family.

Oh man, what terrible news! I never met Angry, but was always stoked to see his posts. His progression from his early years in KH and his bad ass TRs were always inspiring. Just last week I shared his line on Mt. Warren with a bunch of friends, successfully convincing them to come up to Banff this year. Condolences to his family and friends.

Yes, they are both in high school and functioning at above normal levels -- athletically and scholastically (thanks in no small part to superior breeding/genetics).

Anywho, best wishes and long live all of us in 2016/2017.

Heading to Banff next week but currently in Vancouver where there seems to be lots of good sales on ski equipment.

Any thoughts on whether it's better to wait and try and buy second hand skis etc at the banff swap? What sort of selection is there?

banff and canmore swaps are similar. best is to buy a $10 earlybird ticket for either and get in at 13:00.

selection is good. some rental stuff. a bit of private touring. prices are usually fair (some deals, some over priced, most OK)
