Dang, ya beat me to it!

Meeting this Saturday on the lodge deck at 9, will likely be shuttling groups to their respective locations with the carts unless people want to hike.

Hand tools are recommended as always (no chainsaws please unless you've spoken to me about it in advance!) but this week we are trying to get as many weedwackers out there as possible. If you have a weedwacker- be it a string trimmer or a brush blade HD unit, please bring it. Also we will be doing some work road/main trail cleanup so pole saws will come in very handy as well if you have them. As always, if you're bringing the equipment, bring safety gear to run it if required. You are responsible for keeping yourself and those around you safe!

Hoping to have enough people for three crews. One for tree run cleaning, one for cleaning up our main access trail's borders and one for the weedwackers. Hoping we can get enough wood chip from trail cleanup material to help fill in the work road a bit. There will also be crews doing painting and cleaning as well, so if you want to stick to the base area we have plenty to do there too!!

As always, free beer/NA drinks/BBQ/high 5s afterwards on the deck. Really looking forward to seeing everyone and knocking down the list of things Magic needs. It's a long list but I know we can do it as a team!

Is that the steepest longest widest lift served trail in South central eastern VT?

I'm sad I won't be able to make it this weekend because I have to go to Russia. I hope to make the next work days though.

October 8 and October 22. October 8 is the Saturday of Columbus Day and the workday on October 22 will be followed by the always awesome Ullrfest (has its own thread).

Wow those prices are awesome! At $250 I might have to say fuck it even if I only make it there a handful of times.

If passes actually go on sale Oct 8, will someone be at the office post-Ullrfest to handle the transaction or will it be an online only thing?

Someone will be there if you want to do cash and take your picture. Photo props are encouraged as always.

Nice weekend up there, foliage is starting to really pop. Magic's FB posted some nice pics yesterday with the low clouds

You read my mind! Nice to have so many areas at that "mow and go" point now where it's just basic deadfall buffing and hobble whackin'. I seriously cannot wait for the snow to start flying!!

Can't help but throw this gem up. Found looking for volunteer day pics. Not in the cards for the lift serve day but here's one from a few years back.

DoWork, please confirm. Saturday, Oct 8: meet at the deck by the lodge at 9:00 am. Hand tools and weed whackers welcome, no chain saws unless OK'ed in advance by DoWork. Would be nice to get a big crew so we can divide and conquer. See you all there.

    I'm in.

DoWork - I'm a USFS certified sawyer if you need more chainsaw work. I'm just as happy not lugging the gear up the hill if a loppers and handsaw are appropriate.
