Hudson Bay Mountain, and Shames. My inclusion of both these smallish hills takes into account the touring adjacent to both areas.

Isn't this supposed to be one of those things you don't share on here?

Like if I found the next hidden La Grave tucked away in some forgotten valley this would be the last place on earth I'd want to share it.

    Or maybe I am wrong?

OK; I was just thinking of some diversion other than the constant bickerfests.

Then there's Abries en Queyras and Bivio and Evolene and Arolla, but they're mostly pomas & chairs.

And despite being in St. Moritz, there's Diavolezza.

Good one, I loved that cat program they had with the punch pass...

Back in the day (when they had two lifts), Berthoud Pass would qualify.

Cerro Bayo is nicely skeletal not huge skiing by any stretch of the imagination but big enough to be fun.

Is Nordkette the only place in Austria close to the definition? Everywhere else in Austria seems pretty developed.

I was drawn back into the General Ski section for the Vail-istler thread. Have been avoiding the usual bickerfests of summer. Back to the bike section I go.

Who knows? Maybe. But I bet that those who know about it don't want it posted on here.

Maybe Dachstein Glacier or the other nearby place, Dachstein Krippenstein.

Am tempted to nominate Penitentes, Chillan, Pucon, and Caviahue, but perhaps I'm just being nostalgic.

The zone below the Dachstein tram doesn't look skiable. Is it? Is it even open in the winter?
