Anyone going or wants to go to Desert Trip: Stones Dylan Young Who McCartney

My wife loves this type of music, so i am going with her. I don't listen to any of it, but it should be a good time. Anyone else going? We will probably rent a VW bus and pretend to be hippies for the weekend.

I bought two extra tickets that I'm looking to sell, if anyone else wants to go. 3-day general admission with shuttle, that's it. Pretty sure the event sold out in the first hour or two it was online. Then they added a second weekend, and that sold out.

We have tickets to the 1st weekend.

I had not heard of that. I would go, when is that ever going to happen again? Even though it's like a parody of Woodstock almost, or the weird ultimate culmination of the baby boomer experience or something. It would be trippy I think. But I'm going to be out of the country.

You can hear all your favorite Cadillac commercial songs though! I'd cancel your other trip just for that.

I'm gonna lose a lot of money if these don't sell. So low-ball me, thinking $350/each?

Fuck, tix are so low I bought two additional tix from StubHub. Two 1600 tix for 650 total.

Wife is 7 months pregnant, that solves standing for 10 hours with her.

If I sell my 4 GA soon, I may get 650- for them....either way I'm fucked and will never buy extra tickets for imaginary freinds again.

That said, prowl StubHub the next week, there will be incredible deals as this thing bottoms out.

Ya, I'm fucked. Trying to unload 4 GA for 200 each before it's too late. Wish I knew more about selling tix.

My problem isn't finding tickets - it's finding a place to stay!

That's probably the reason why tickets are not being sold, nobody can figure out where to stay. I found a hotel far away, but it's 3 miles from a shuttle stop so it will be 'easy'.

This place has a 'secret' price for 107 a night on hotels.com: https://www.hotels.com/ho253642/?q-c...m-0-children=0

Might meet some new friends to share a room there!

LA or SLC, I looked into until I remembered the wife was pregnant. Bozeman, too.

Looks like I'll be doing the car camping thing for the 2nd weekend. Do the rear seats fold flat in a Jetta wagon? Yikes!

    Nice, hop.

My anxious mother called me yesterday and said she just watched NBC news and due to the earthquake warning, I should cancel my trip. Sorry, Mom. Salton Sea where last weeks earthquake swarm is on our tourist list, it's a can't miss! I wanna see god part the seas......

I'm sure other people will be selling their tix based on the warning which means more cheap tickets. I am a bit nervous if the grandstand is earthquake proof though, not gonna lie. The fault line has to be extremely close to the concert.
