    Rocky Mountain Underground Professor

I'm looking for a new big mountain charger. Anyone out there have any beta on the RMU professor? I'm also looking at DPS lotus 124.

I helped those guys out at SIA for 2 years and have been skiing on a few different models since then. I do not have experience on the newer Professors, but love my prototypes. For some reason their site doesn't have the new dimensions or camber profiles listed, so I'm not sure what's going on there. All in all I'd say it would be a good choice, but I think they changed the profile up a bit.

im wanting to fit a dynafit touring binding on them. Need something good for 50% back country 50% resort/side country. Looking for lighter weight floaty surfy ski for back country big mountain charging and on the stiffer side for smashing the resort chop. Also need some camber underfoot to hold an edge for frontside stash to stash groom.

Skied a pair of 2014 RMU North Shore's for a couple months. Easily the worst f@cking pieces of shit I have ever been on. I actually found them offensive. Zero torsional rigidity. Not enough early rise for such a floppy, center mounted, 5 point design. I actually brought them back to the store and gave them back.

Beyond 40 degrees of bottomless pow (where i admit they performed well), those skis did noting but let me down. Don't know about the model you are asking about but I can tell you that the 2014 North Shore's are complete trash. Sorry if this offends anyone, but i swore to myself i would spread the word. And don't take my word for it, ask around. I have heard several other people who definitely know their skis that they wouldn't ski those again. Just sayin'.

You missed out on the Summer group buy for Down skis. I wonder how many people snoozed on this.

I'm guessing Chunderhead is a climber, and can ski, skin and climb rings around your sorry fat arses.

I let a ski tester type borrow my iron & bench to wax some RMU's and the bases were just so rough they definatley needed a base grind, duno if they all come like that but I was amazed that a set of skis could go out to a writer looking that bad, I think buddy just gave em back and never wrote anything about RMU

also heard AP whine about RMU in person

    Lotus 120 for the win!

Wow. You can tell all that from a picture of a guy in capris and a man bun holding skis in a Range Rover? Cool.
