That is a bottle cap in a football field, surrounded by many other bottle caps that are valuable and functional.

Someone uncovered the guy behind a prominent Neo Nazi account - an account that was reference by at least two mass shooters - and Musk is now doing what he can to preserve his anonymity.

Public service address: Bluesky is now open to everyone, so it would be great if any Twitter users would head over there, leaving Musk behind with his Nazi friends.

these people who come over and work illegally need to be deported, and the companies that hire them punished.

If we had meaningful enforcement and penalties for companies that hire undocumented workers, we wouldn't have a flood of people across the border. Having said that, it's ridiculous to not have a working visa program to provide a legal route to work in the US, especially for seasonal workers.

    This^^^

And if the politicians complaining about illegal immigration were serious there’s a simple solution already available: E-Verify. But they’re not serious.

The politicians complaining don’t actually care to solve the problem. They’d like to keep having the issue so they can rile up the plebes, and don’t want to hurt the businesses who are hiring all these illegal workers.

^^ As evidenced by the fact that the Trumpists helped create a bill that would address many of their concerns and then changed their minds about it when their leader reminded them that they need for immigration to be an active issue so he can use it to drum up fear and xenophobia. What a a bunch of worthless losers!

not those people. i’m talking about the “students” like Elon who arrive by air and then take jobs illegally when they’re supposed to be in school. 40-50% of undocumented immigrants arrive that way and yet Elon doesn’t even mention the issue. they bring crime, they’re doing drugs, they have no respect for our laws, and think they’re entitled to be here. smdh

1992 elon attends upenn on student visa

1994 he begins working in the us after dropping out of college. these are now “internships” on wiki. he admits to trying to get a job illegally at netscape at the same time even though he wouldn’t have been eligible to work. good on netscape for rejecting him.

there is no legal path from college dropout to zip2 on a student visa. where is the outrage over these undocumented people stealing opportunities from Americans?

That’s not at all how this works.

I’m all for trying to make sure immigrants are arriving here legally, but that would also require greatly increasing the opportunities for legal immigration if we don’t want to harm the country.

people like Elon are cheating the system working illegally and overstaying. i’m all for fixing the process but that can’t just be for people who arrive via the southern border, especially with people like elon or melania that shouldn’t be able to pass a character test.
