    MPC #150: Sunshine 5/6-5/31

Having just lived through my first winter in the PNW, I have become quite obsessed with sunshine. Especially the recent abundance of it this spring along with the longer days.

Interpret as you see fit. It could be as simple as a sunrise or sunset, the sun creating just that perfect natural spotlight on a scene, a sunstar in a landscape, a reflection, or a silhouette created by bright sunlight.

Trying to keep this up through the holiday weekend so I'll end it on 5/31.

    RULES:
    1. Photos must be taken within the time period of the contest.
    2. You may submit 3 photos during the competition.
    3. The contest moderator will choose 5 (or 6) photos to be voted on.
    4. The winner will get a happy feeling in his/her pants. (That is a rule by the way, not an option.)
    5. In the event of a tie, the contest moderator will have the deciding vote.
    6. Winner will be the contest starter/moderator for the next comp.
    7. The winner has 3 days to start a new contest or 2nd place becomes the new winner.
    8. And have fun.

Finally took my old DSLR out for the first time in a long time this weekend.

Been too lazy to go out and shoot in the mornings recently. Plus the weather's been crap a lot. So here's my metaphorical ray of morning sunshine...

This is going to be tough, but I'm looking forward to it

I'll get a voting thread up tomorrow evening, if anyone is getting home late tonight from a weekend out of town and needs some extra editing time I'll include anything before 6 PM PDT tomorrow.
