^^^those browns are amazing. Absolutely beautiful.

    my meager contribution...

    pond starting to heat up

Recent moisture and the beginning of runoff showing in the small water canyon

    some more low brow fish...

Had a smallmouth trip planned with the old man, but high water canceled that so I called an audible and headed down to the deer lease for some topwater and turkeys. The fish were so cooperative the first evening we abandoned the turkey plans and just fished.

    Breaking in a new fly

Biggest sunfish I have ever seen. That's a 1/0 bass popper in its mouth, and this was not the biggest we caught

Haven't had much time to escape lately due to work craziness but got out the other day for some adventure and to make the new boat's underparts nice and wet. The catching was just ok but the fishing was really nice.

    Wink

Getting the new raft broken in, funny, the lady enjoys fishing a lot more when she gets rowed around beer in hand...The pooch approves too, especially when we float through sheep farms...
