Actually not a miserable idea. I am sure the Gauge is totally fine. I am not sure whether or not they've opened the outdoor center stuff yet. Might be a better option for me.

I went out down here wed night and it was wet but completely snow free. Fat tires were good, very good, for the wet. I'm heading north this weekend and will probably bike more than ski. If I do ski it looks like I'll have to skin the resort again. I guess I'll figure that out once I scout some north facing stuff, but I'm not feeling very hopeful.

ODC plan still a mystery, the hut trails offer some big mileage potential

I haven't had this much fun in a long time! Fatty with studs in these conditions reverted mindset back to my 10yr old self! Schwinn days returned, but just better. Technology ftw!

Air the glacial kicker? Hell no!

    Roll it left edge...yes

Studded skids. Yeah, never growing up

This sledding hill was a blast. Solid snowpack

Sick pictures Jackstraw. I crumbled to the calling of the fat bike last week. Framed Wolftrax coming in if it can ever clear customs...

^^^Fun afternoon of skin laps has me off the fatty train for now. I am weak, though, and will likely break at some point- too much trail right here in town to ignore winter fat riding forever.

Strongly considering checking it out. They're doing a bunch of guided XC stuff as well so that + downhill + beer = solid.

Greasy today, but fun. No urge to step into skis with this weather and lacking a base in cowhampshire. Maybe rockpile would have been ok.

Wow, you still have snow. All I've got is soft tacky dirt and wet leaves. Could be worse I guess Rode yesterday in the mid 30's and damp, today after the fog finally broke the sun came out and it jumped to the low 50's and the woods smelled like spring. Not sure if that's a good thing or not.

That's somewhat reassuring there's still good depth up there, its spring time in Boston. Did 40 miles on the road yesterday. Need some cold weather to get seasonally stoked!

Yeah, I should have clarified. North facing only and by the time I left we had lost a bunch more with the continued warmth. South facing is just about toast.

Yeah I did a rare groomed day down here in the NY 'burbs yesterday and got to play on the crust off to the sides and had a ball. Turns out we have a state park that grooms an xc network but it's super low tide and there isn't enough to ski on so the winter park is closed so I decided that meant it would be a perfect fatty playground. I was right

As the snow started to fly...a quick spin around the local trails. In just over an hour, our tracks were gone.

Tight trails & tacky dirt - '16 NE thread

Cold temps and soft snow for today's Winter Whooly and Highland. Lift served trails were a great way to practice constantly counter steering. Pedal trails were in better shape. Oh and plenty of cold beer.

I'm so bummed I had to blow that off. Last night my daughter got called in for work today so I had to be here to drive her in. It sounds like it was a good event that I should have been at.

MSA1- Where is that? I feel like I've seen that shack in a pic somewhere else just recently with a white fatty in front of it.
