When online retailers go bad:

Pretty crazy story about people getting screwed left and right by this couple.

Ha. Pumped to see a story on this company. They ran me around in circles on an order of dynafit brakes (only sent 1 brake at the same price that all other companies were selling 2), then made me pay a restocking fee and shipping for the return.

I've been telling people for years that you can't trust French people!
And is there really a jacket company called Mouse Knuckle? Don't even get me started on a dude buying an extra small fur trimmed down jacket for $850.

Glad to see this news getting spread.
I "bought" from them a few years ago when they had a B+ rating from the BBB... so I trusted the business. I requested a price match over the phone on a pair of Dukes and they agreed to only process the transaction and run my card if the price match could be made. Instead they charged me full retail on the Dukes and processed the order anyway (ended up being a price difference of ~$200).
They refused to admit they did anything wrong, the CC company and bank were unable to change anything (technically I did give them my card info), and the BBB process didn't help either. They lost their BBB accreditation and their rating was changed to an F a couple weeks later.
I repeatedly contacted them and they threatened to take me to collections... For what??? And then started hanging up/ignoring every call.

These jackholes sound like they could benefit from the passionate attention of the collective. Dog shit under door handles for starters.

Their web designer got some of his money back in the form of gear:

And it appears they are already setting up shop as Summitwearhouse.com and selling on Ebay.Last edited by shredgnar; 03-23-2016 at 07:15 AM.

Thanks for keeping the light on where these low life's are turning up.
Earlier in this post someone was referencing the BBB rating. I give the BBB rating as much weight as yelp reviews.
F these thieves.

They were forced by a court order on Monday to shut down all eCommerce including ebay and summitwearhouse. 123Mountain.com is down. I'm sure they will pop up again (whack-a-mole).
