You say awesome I say cosmetic. Lip stick on a pig you know.
People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.

I have a notebook computer I bought at least five years ago that had essentially become useless because it was so slow running Windows 7. I figured upgrading it to Windows 10 was worth a shot. Took me about three tries to get Windows 10 to load successfully, but I must say the computer is actually usable now. I'm not sure if it's Windows 10 or eliminating a lot of other crap that had accumulated, but the performance is definitely better now.

Just wait until a bunch of your drivers don't work, and updating them doesn't help.
I rolled back after working with Windows 10 for a few weeks. The roll back went flawlessly. I was really impressed. I'll upgrade again in the future once everything else catches up.JigaRex Universal Ski Mounting Jig

Harken back to NT5 (win2000) for a really rough driver experience.
That's when NT went plug and play with thousands of purportedly PCI devices that weren't (they were not relocatable and were essentially IO dependent ISA devices with a PCI bus connector).

Surely you jest. Windows 2000 was light years beyond any MS OS released before it, especially with regard to driver support, just for USB support alone. To this day, Windows 2000 SP4 makes the MS Greatest Hits list. There were some great video cards to go with it... the nVidia card of that time was totally bullet proof, as was the Matrox Millenia.

Easy upgrade for me. Two small issues, one fixed it's self, but I'm still having trouble signing in with my fingerprint scanner, everything else works perfectly. Prefer it so much to 8.
Have 7 at work, would prefer 10, but really both work fine.
I'd recommend 10 to anyone, based solely on my use.

Slight thread drift, but does anyone have any thoughts on Office365? I'm thinking of migrating over to it from standalone Office Professional. Not sure how easy it will be to get those pst's to the cloud. Also, everything stays on the cloud, correct (e-mails, docs)?
Also, how hard is it from a user prospective to switch from 7 Ultimate to 10? I'll be starting from scratch with a new machine with 10 on it.
