142+ on Niner WFO
Looking for some advice, I'm building up a Niner WFO this winter, and found a solid deal on a pair of carbon hoops that have a 142+ hub in the rear. Anyone know if it's possible to run it on the Niner even though it technically isn't a 142+ rear? I'm going to be running a sram 1x11 set-up if that makes a difference...
Thanks for the help!

Depends on the hub. Some can be converted with endcaps and some can't.

Excuse my jongness, but isn't the 142+ slightly (2mm) bigger than the 142...so endcaps would just take up more space? The wheels are 2015 roval traverse SL carbon's if that makes a difference?

Buy wheels.
Ditch frame.

When we say end caps, that means you replace the end caps with a different size. For example you take off the 142 end caps and put on 135 end caps, or put on 142+ end caps. You take off your summer tires and put on your snow tires, they do not go overtop of them.
A 142+ wheel is still 142mm wide, its not actually not just 2mm wider. The "body" of the hub is 2mm wider to make a spoke angle stronger, this moving free hub and driveline +2mm further out, it make the end cap 2mm narrower than a traditional 142 end cap, but the axle width is still 142mm wide.
Bottom line 142+ hubs will only work in 142+ frames.
Here is a good explanation:
