ha, I remember I created this account when the big hiccup happened and they changed the colors and deleted a bunch old posts over thar. So I guess I'll be hanging out here unless something significant happens back at the ol' board.

I haven't spent a ton of time on the old board in the last few days, but from what I've read sounds pretty shady. Glad there is a new home, whether it's temporary or permanent.

I think the title of this post is wrong -- Refugees are ousted. "Expatriates" leave.

I think most of us are expats then.
But there are at least a few refugees."They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."

edit: Actually, when you get a chance can you change it so that when you reply with a quote it carries over all of the quotes, not just the last one? Also, when you reply it would be nice to be taken to the page of the thread you reply on instead of the 1st page. No rush though.

Just thought I'd duck in here to say I'm sorry for what happened to you guys over there. That sucks worse than just about anything has ever sucked before.
Man, that dude gives moderators a really bad name. In a million years I could never hope to figure out a reason why anybody would be so stupid as to make IP numbers public. It's totally beyond all comprehension.
Not that we haven't made our share of mistakes over the years ...but man...
Anyway, hope you guys have found a new home you'll be cool with here.

All of these things are little details that bug me about this forum script that I've never been able to fix -- at somepoint, I'll have to do a version upgrade...Originally posted by funkendrenchman:

Hey alright nobody knows me here... O wait, I don't think anybody knew me at the other place either? O well here I'am. I'm the new guy, I was pretty new next door too when the terorist attacked. Anyway I think I'm gonna let all the dust and debris settle down next door and see what happens for real before I make my decision.
Anyway, keep praying snow

Hi guys. Good to see some friendly faces.
BTW Mitch - you didn't make big mistakes (and no where near like that), you just learnt as you were going along. No shame in that. Thanks for looking in.

Me checking in. I'm setting up a (hopefully) temporary tent here too.
