    SNOW IN THE PNW 2015-16: Winter Strikes Back

    Snow has been falling at higher elevations, things are settling in this season. This thread needs to start now, no more bumps of lasts years dismal blob fest.

    Thanks to wsdot for closing hwy 20 yesterday and diverting us into a long ass day. Well worth it climbing out in the dark.

    Great coverage above 5k north of snoqualmie. Below that, nil.

    Pumped to be stoked and part of this thread! Re-training for midlife career shift wraps up in 1.5 weeks, hoping to be out there ruining skis just as soon as the new schedule starts up.... Hope to see you all out hiking and maybe a few days at the hwy 2 resort! Thanks for a more promising thread title this time around.....

    This, in conjunction with Auvgeeks link, seems to provide the most accurate outlook (with my limited knowledge and skills). I find spotwx to be more accurate than mountain forecast; downside is that you have to extrapolate to elevations you will be at (it provides only one elevation, and that may or may not apply to where you are going).
