    Baker opens Thursday. Solid 35 inch base, and with the temp roller coaster of late, its skiing as if the base is even deeper. Tue is going to be gnarly but looks like lots of snow before / after the short warm up.

    A few years ago 2007? the plan was to put in a second gate at Cutthroat. It was even partly built, but no tax/funding whatever to allow for plowing to get there, so no go. It would have been especially nice in the spring, since the first day of plowing they usually get to the first avie chutes just short of the pass. Rainy pass will never be.
