    Bike parts damaged this weekend

2 seatposts bolts and a clamp

    1 linkage bolt

    1 warped rotor

    1 bent brake lever

    1 out of true wheel

1 helmet - several chips from rock and tree impacts. Thank god I wear a full face.

at least I figured out how to bend the rotor back. http://www.utahmountainbiking.com/fix/diskrotr.htm

Is it just me or does a day of DHing always include some bike part breaking?

Almost every trip I took to Snowshoe last year I was hauling 2 bikes. 1 DH bike, and 1 "parts" bike. At the very least, I've found that a rear derailleur, a brake rotor and a brake lever are absolute necessities...not to mention every tool you can squeeze into your toolbox.

Incidentally, I hate you. <-- 2 trips to Whistler (already) related.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.
