$1900-2500 for a pair of all-mountain skis. Their race skis are a mere $1600
I think they are targeting the Hedge Fund Manager niche

Bode + champagne + the James Bond vibe + heli rescue by blonde hottie, yeah they're definitely targeting the Lexus/Cialis crowd hardcore.

I've seen them around eastern mountains and they look like pretty nice high end carving / race skis.
However......their business model: "Let's sell world cup race skis to posers from the city" probably isn't going to work out.

Dudes are at every Junior race in VT trying to convince kids rather unsuccessfully to use their skis. So I was curious about them and looked them up some years ago.

If you Google the name 'Ross Anapolle' you come up with some interesting stuff...not sure if its all the same guy...but it's not a common name.

^^^I'll defer to Old Larry on this, but seems those would get mucked up pretty quick. If anywhere, I'd only wear those in drier less snowy climates like Tahoe.

Ridiculous price-point! Someone however must be buying them as they must have paid a fair whack to use the line "An official supplier to the U.S. and Canadian Ski Teams."
They must be supplying them with those slippers!

Junior skis are only a grand. Maybe that includes a helicopter ride with Bode?

Either they're not at SVC races or I've just missed them, but I first came across this brand about a year ago randomly walking up Madison Ave. They have a store (boutique I'm sure is the preferred term) which I'm guessing runs them at least 4-500k/year. I assumed they were some rich dude's vanity project, but given that they somehow managed to sign Bode this year (of course Bode is taking the year off from WC so the signing could be meaningless) I thought there might be more to them. Have a buddy who went to a magazine event in the city that they sponsored the other night (Bode was there, although the signing I guess hadn't been inked/announced yet), and he still wasn't able to tell me what their deal is. It doesn't make sense, that's for sure.

Well, there you go, although I'm not sure why Bode would be interested in ownership of a presumably profitless (and money losing) ski enterprise. I would have assumed he could've stayed with Head even not racing this year and done a hell of a lot better. Ergo, my new job: Bode Miller's business manager.
