Looking to drop the quiver top end down from 122 - J skis?
I'm thinking of moving down the quiver top end waist (quiver is now 84-98-Rocker 2 122) to something in the 108-115 range. Something that would still float better than the q98s, but be a bit more versatile when in crud and on piste. I'm 6'2", 190 lbs, ski east with a bunch of trips out West and occasional to Chile. Looking for the ever popular rocker/camber/rocker, but I don't ride switch so early rise would do it. Older guy, can charge, but not looking for a super stuff, 110% effort at all times setup. Did that year ago, having fun with the kids, want playful but something that I won't overpower when I turn on the gas.
The J skis The Friend seems very interesting at 114 and rumored to more than hold its own off the pow. Anyone ski that? The Supernatural 115 is on huge discount at STP, as are several Black Crows, people love Gotamas, lots to look at these days. Fire at will.

If you like the 122s why not a 108? The 190 is 111mm wide. Ticks all the boxes IMO.
Otherwise the Nordica Patron or Blizzard Gunsmoke comes to mind.

Katana might fit you better. Think the gotama tops out at like 105?
Anyhow I've used a whole range of waist sizes for different things. I'm now (last 2.5 seasons) been doing the 1 pair thing. Just over 100 waist. Even when we got like 35"+ on April 15 2015 I didn't feel under gunned at all.
YMMV.
