Spending Full Ski Season in Japan
Hey Guys,
Total Newbie here - if there are other posts that answer my questions please point me to them!
Looking to spend at 2 to 3 months in Japan starting mid January.
I work online so I´m not looking to get an instructor gig.
Any of you guys done this? What was your experience like?
What kind of costs could I expect (without flights)?
Niseko or Hakuba?
Anything else to keep in mind?
Thanks in advance!

Sweet drop.
Was referring to his online skills, not his skiing skills.
Type 'ski season in japan' in any search engine, especially the TGR one and there'll be days of reading.
Give more specific info and he'll get better beta back.
It ain't that hard.
Here's two

Lets start you off with the basics... do you want coastal stable snowpack and steeps/spines (Hakuba) or deep blower mellow terrain (Hokkaido)? Once you decide that, TGR search should take you the rest of the way.

I'm so glad you asked this question - it's been floating around in my mind as well and I am POSITIVE that it has never been asked before in the history of Google or this forum. It's almost like we need a Japan for JONGS thread and it seems like you have finally started it! Good work!
Now GTFO and do a quick Google search with your mad online skills, JONG"...if you're not doing a double flip cork something, skiing spines in Haines, or doing double flip cork somethings off spines in Haines, you're pretty much just gaping."

I have no idea how I figured out where to go ski in Japan this January. Oh wait, I did some reading before I asked a bunch of questions. Tits or gtfo JONG!
