    FS: Med. Knolly Warden

Get a good deal on a rad bike. I built it late last August, rode it through the Fall, took a few months for the brief winter-type event we had last year, then rode it from March through June. Rear shock was new in March. 11sp XTR drivetrain parts were installed in early May and have low miles. Brakes were just bled and the tires in the picture have 1 ride.

Frame: Knolly Warden, medium, 150mm travel
    R. Shock: Cane Creek Double Barrel InLine CS.
    Fork: 2015 Fox 36 Float RC2
Brakes: Shimano Saint - 180 ice tech front/160 Freeza rear
Handlebar: Pro Components Atherton cut to 770mm
Stem: Pro Components Tharsis Trail 60mm
    Shifter: XTR 11sp
Seatpost: KS Lev Integra 150mm with stealthy black shaft and Ti hardware
    Saddle: Pro Components Condor 142
Cranks: XT M780 with Race Face NW ring-XT BB
    Chain: Shimano CN-900 XTR/DA. 11sp
Chainguide: MRP (with Velcro installed for silence)
    Rear Derailleur: XTR GS
    Cassette: XTR 11-40 11sp
Wheels: DT Swiss 350 hubs laced to WTB i25 (built by Krispy at Go-Ride)
Front tire: Bontrager SE5 Team 2.3 (medium casing) 1 ride
Rear Tire: Maxxis Tomahawk 3C Double Down Casing 2.3 1 ride

-I've got 2.4 and 2.3 Maxxis High Roller 2 with low miles if buyer wants a lighter tire set up instead. Current set up is on the burly side.

All this can be yours for the low, low price of $3000 American Dollarinis. Buyer pays shipping. Delivery may be possible to Colorado or Jackson area if timing allows.

Maybe/probably. 5'6" is right on the cusp. Knolly says 5'7" - 5'11" for medium. But I'm 5'10" and would buy a large if I was to get another one.

I don't think stand over would be an issue at all, but you would probably have to run a 125mm post instead of 150.

    Nice deal!

More data, I'm just a touch under 5'8" and ride a medium as well. Probably have an inch of post below the dropper and ride it with a 60 mm stem.

I am 5'7" and ride a small frame Warden. This was what my team manager at Knolly recommended when I was putting my order in. Sure, I could easily ride a medium with plenty of standover, but the small just fits me perfectly and I can really handle the bike better with it a tad on the smaller side. Plus the reach is seems much longer than some mediums I have been on from other brands.

At 5'6" on a medium frame you would have to run the shortest possible stem and even then it would be a tad long IMO.

    ^^thanks WG. I fit a M Bronson v1 fine but it does look like I'm a S warden pilot.

    Sweet ride and great deal

That price for that bike with that build is schweeet.

As long as we're having a frame size party, here goes:
Mrs jm2e @ 5' 2" rides a small warden with a 50mm Syntace stem. Thought it was too tight with an uber short 35mm Kore stem. She's rocking a 50mm LEV, so I can't imagine a much taller rider not looking at his seat tube and wondering if his bike may be a bit too small. Oh, and she's rocking a small Podium too. Yea be jealous, my wife is a badass!

Mr jm2e @ 5' 10" rides a large Chili with a 35mm Kore stem. And its fucking amazing. My ideal next bike will be a large Podium. If I got a Warden, I'd get a large. I've been told the big bikes will keep me from ever enjoying jumps. Fuck off, you.

I honestly think the uber slack seat tube plays a big role in the wide overlap in sizing between riders. Taller riders get on my bike and their ETT is noticeably longer, as the extended post height also moves their ass back quite a bit.
However many are in a shit ton.

Was that one ride enough time for a verdict on the Tomahawk? looking to add to the rubber stack.

Unfortunately, no. It wasn't even so much 1 ride as about 1/4 mile of nasty, rocky, rutted dust to a broken wrist. It seemed to roll well for the 30min walk down service roads at Canyons.
If the eventual buyer opts for the lighter tires, I'd sell you the T-Hawk. We could make the handoff at Lucky Slice....because I fucking JONES for that pizza.

Your ringing endorsement was enough that I ended up picking one up. Finally they have a casing like Spesh Grid.

Don't go to the Layton Luck Slice, shit is not the same. I think their clientele demands more cheese.

Ugh. I think Utah demands more cheese, it's the reason I can't eat a slice at The Pie. Stay strong Ogden Lucky Slice.

Good to know. I've gotten Gabor Bros a few times in Layton, there is a lot of cheese on it, but I dig the weird old school vibe.
