Why are the TGR forums so horribly horribly slow today

Today when I am on the TGR forums Firefox is horribly, horribly slow, my CPU usage is up in the high 70% range (mostly Firefox, flash and 'plugin container for Firefox')

I usually find TGR is one of the worst performing websites I visit, but this is far far worse than normal

Thanks - paused that and all of a sudden CPU usage dropped by more than half.

Now how do I kill it permanently and also stop the damn lysol ad appearing after I pause it?

Duh, RIP the entire site. It's the only way it's even tolerable.

Super slow again today. Flash and Shockwave keep crashing. Argh. How am I supposed to avoid working when TGR is crawling like this???
