Mass mags fishing false albies?
Are there any mags on or near the cape fishing for false albies? Thinking about road tripping down for the weekend+sleeping in car. Haven't found any reports as of yet but I am still looking. Not sure if it'll be worth it considering I will be limited to shore. Will be on fly fwiw.

Holy shit! They are absolutely blitzing like crazy on the southern RI coast. We have been catching them from the jetties down here
Not me, but the local shop guy, Christian yesterday morning in Weekapaug

Binky how is the access to the beaches down there? I see a lot of shoreline to cover and I also see what looks like vehicle beach access on some of them on google maps. Kind of looks like how island beach state park is set up.
I also need to find a parking lot where I'm not gunna get bothered. Prime situation would be somewhere with communal bathrooms.
Kind of short notice cause I'd head down tomorrow around noon.
edit: just remembered I left my stripping basket at home. fuck.Last edited by east or bust; 09-17-2015 at 08:17 PM.

If you are heading to RI, Charlestown sounds like everything you are looking for. Was there a few weeks ago. Charlestown Breachway state park. Car/rv camping in the beach parking lot. Nice bathrooms. A jetty you can walk out on and fish from. Even if you don't get any Albies, stripers should be around. And there's always blues.

Everything stated here is spot-on. Also consider, if you stay in Charleston or Burlington Campground, a day trip down to Napatree/Watch Hill. This time of year total access. Not sure about vehicles on the beach at Watch Hill. That may be October.
I would play tour guide if it was any weekend but the upcoming. I am in VT hitting some freshwater."You can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning".
