the southern resort that the op calls crystal has both ski in ski out lodging, on mountain restaurants with fully stocked bars plus a bucket to ferry the tourons up then down the hill. sounds pretty resorty to me and their parking lots are paved.

The True Southern Resort has fully stocked bars, dining, and a detachable quad to ferry tourons to the mid mountain restaurants and back down during the summer.

When compared to the Northern Southern Resort, TSR has a higher base, more acreage, more vertical, drier snow, paved, unpaved and carpeted parking, and (unless you opt for the carpeted parking zone) very short walks to click in points.

But you're right, on-site lodging at TSR involve wheels. And it's flat. And the lift tower sheaves rain black bukake from above. And chairs fall off haul ropes. And lift motors catch fire "without warning"
