I've debated it, but no. Not yet, anyway.

If this was for manuals I might pay for it. I was pretty decent wheelying in the early millenium, gotta get back to snuff!

That link in the first post has top secret info ...
But 'how much is wheelie-ability worth'? is the real question

yup signing up, my 5 pedal rotation 'wheelie' does not cut it for a man of my stature
Like I told my last wife, I never drive faster than I can see, besides it's all in the reflexes.

So... how's it going so far? Glad to hear I'm not the only one who can't wheelie worth a damn.

Huh. My. Wheelie is also weak. Strongly considering it.
Anyone who has signed up already, let's see some progression video!

I don't recall doing that hence the reason we are seeking a better wheelie. $30 ain't no big thing to finally get that skill though
Yea T we know you're great at everything #humblebragskid luxury

I remember wheelie-dropping everything when I was a kid. That and rocking back into the Hans Rey trials style rear wheel hop. That's where the real competition was. Good times. Broken hard tail xc frames galore.
If you'll excuse me, I have a pressing appointment in the driveway ...

I remember that. Could ride a wheelie for blocks. Of course that was on a "BMX" junker built out of a few old bikes.
Now as an old man on a 6" full suspension set up plush as hell I can't wheelie to save my life. Maybe if I lock out the suspension I'd get more than a couple of rotations. Probably could wheelie the road bike but don't want to break a hip.
I'm fine though. Not paying $30

Pretty sure that if most people tried to ride wheelies for 30 days at 15 minutes a day, they'd be pretty good at them.

Cliff Notes version:
1. Pedal to lift the wheel higher
2. Brake to bring wheel down
3. There are 3 ways to control side to side balance
A. Turn the front wheel away from the direction the bike is falling
B. Turn your knees away from the direction the bike is falling
C. Bend at your torso away from the direction the bike is falling
You may paypal $30 to mr.toadstillcantwheelie@gmail.com

I'm going to try and learn to wheelie. It's the trophy pose; the front double bicep of the two wheel type. I want that. Not necessarily in 30 days but by the end of summer.
The wheelie rig is a DB Release 3. It's a full squish 27.5 with a soft setup which is probably more difficult to wheelie than a hardtail but the idea is to easily transition any newfound wheelie skills to motorcycles where I'll rip around like the 12 O'Clock Boys.
Today was day one. Getting the wheel off the ground isn't an issue. The issue is - no surprise - truly balancing on the rear wheel. I made as many as ten pedals while falling forward; i.e., front wheel was off the ground but I was not balanced on the rear wheel. When balanced, I was only able to get four or five pedals until I started to tilt left or right. Getting weight back is key. Keeping my head up seemed to help. I need to work on bringing the front down with the rear brake instead of stepping off.

If you're falling side to side, lower your seat 2". You need some extra bend in your legs so you can keep your knees wide for balance.

Thanks for the tip, toast.
Day two. Practiced on grass whereas day one was on pavement which was better for peace of mind. The first attempt or two were my best. Getting to the balance point felt marginally easier. Trying hard to use the rear brake to adjust and not step off. I was pushing the bike sideways on my second pedal quite a bit.
