King of the Blues - R.I.P.

We lost a great one! http://www.nytimes.com/2015/05/16/ar...t-89.html?_r=0

Fond memories of seeing him over a few decades. Always put on a hell of a show with incredible passion, even toward the end. Inspiring musician. Interviewed him when I was 19. I was as nervous as hell. He calmed my nerves as soon as he walked in the radio studio and told me, "I'm just a g-tar player, son. Same as everyone else". He could tell I was shaky. Interview went well and I was never nervous in that situation again. Thx BB.

and he was still a nice guy
