2016 PRAXIS info, mounting and resource guide
With our favorite ski maker announcing the new lineup it only seems fitting to have a new thread to post all that is Praxis. http://praxisskis.com/
I'll link new threads here for easier access.
Like most posters here I also have a referral code and will send on request.
The 2014 thread I started with links to a lot of threads in the first posts

Sorry but I'm lazy this morning. How soft is soft flex? Is it soft for praxis or soft for a ski flex? looking at some Backcountrys to move my dynafits to.
a positive attitude will not solve all of your problems, but it may annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

190 BC med/stiff std layup with Hex topsheet ordered... So stoked and would really like to order a Protest with Ancient top sheet, but just can't justify... After 6 days straight on my GPOs my affection for Praxis has only increased...
Skied 6 days at Snowbird that included skiing Gordys camp (got to ski with Todd Ligare and Dash Long) and my 193 MVPs absolutely rocked the conditions and terrain... Only issue was we skied some of the steepest tree runs and tight shoots I ever have and the 193s were a handful in these conditions... The BC should be a better fit and now offered in std layup it shoul be a killer technical and resort ski...
So stoked...!

i'm enjoying (enjoyed, tore my calf muscle at the village on saturday) the 175 UL GPO in a medium flex for touring.
5'8" 175 lbs
great soft snow weapon with gpo shape and 111 mm underfoot
mine weigh 7.3 lbs (for anyone considering this as a touring ski)Aggressive in my own mind

Hoarhey, the camp exceeded my expectations and was also humbling as hell... I learned more than I ever thought and def impacted my skiing in a very positive way... And holy shit can Todd ski... The runs that were huge pucker factor for me Todd skied them like a green run... Super super cool guy... I will def be doing another camp..l

WOOT!
After a couple years of hoping and waiting and a few months of hinting by Keith.... site is updated and the Powderboards this year have the 3D base. Rather stoked am I!
Now for the top sheet dilemma...

If you get a pair I'd like to try them for a run sometime Unfortunately for Keith I'm still on my camo ones that show no sign of needing replacement

I ski the 182 inbounds.
It would be great if he could make the 182 GPO in the narrower 111 mm width and you'd have a solid soft snow ski under 8 lbs.
I skied the 175 GPO this year on a hut trip and it was MONEY.
The previous year I had taken 177 carbon hybrid protests (128 mm) to the same yurt.
I wasn't missing anything on this year's trip with the 175 length (I did mount 1.3 cm back from dimple and put in a 6 mm toe shim), and now I can confidently rail deep snow with this "short, narrow" skiAggressive in my own mind

reposting from Praxis website
This winter we have been testing some new ideas and one in particular that we are excited to debut on the 2016 Powderboards... they're going 3D!. It starts with a 3D base that is moulded with a bevel all the way around the ski, then the finish tune incorporates a base edge bevel that continues inward on the skis base around the entire perimeter of the ski, creating a convex base shape. This "base high" feel reduces the already minimal snow friction of the Powderboards for an incredibly smooth and easy ride in the pow. The 3D base is fun and slarvy but still has a reliable edge.Aggressive in my own mind
