    Bent Chetler: 185 vs 192

Can't decide which size to get the Bent Chetler in. Looking to get it as my dedicated pow ski above my Soul 7 (188 cm) in my quiver, which I use for touring/resort/allmtn. The bent chet would be used for a little bit of everything off-piste: mostly open stuff, some trees, jumps/drops and should be able to offer stability in chop/crud aswell. So I want a good balance of agility/playfulness and stability. I'm 5'11", 160 lbs and an advanced skier (about a 7 or 8) and will be using it in the Swiss Alps.

Which size would you recommend? Would especially appreciate input from people who have skied both sizes!

Do you even have to ask? 192, fo sure, doncha know that bigger is always better on TGR? but I think that the namesake usually rocks the 185 and he's 5' 10", 180 lbs, for what it's worth

Really comes down to what you're doing while skiing down the hill.
Are you a more playful skier aka you like to do butters, flips, spins etc. while in the powder or are you more of a directional skier, aiming your skis mainly down the fall line and charging down?

185 for a lot of playfulness, 192 for more stability

    192 for sure

I had the 183 and had to unload it because it was too short and I'm 5'8" 155

Mostly open 192 for sure. the 185 is looking sick for Eastern tree skiing though

you want a "dedicated pow" to pair with your "188cm soul 7", ehy are you even considering the 185cm?

can't think of any reason to ski the shorter than soul7 Bent chetler!

My daily is a 188cm ski and I love my 192s. Most fun ski I've ever been on.

That ski has shitloads of rocker. It skis short. If you're not skiing tight trees and chutes, go 192. Be aware though, that 192 is stupid heavy.

Just ask yourself this... do you like to make shorter turns or do you like to let them run? There's your answer.

    192 and don't look back.
Sure it's heavier but it is surprisingly nimble and a good swing weight. Weight really isn't an issue for resort skiing plus there's plenty of heavier skis in this size.

They've reviewed both lengths and do some comparisons. Should be enough to make an informed decision.
