Bloodline- Netflix
New series based in Islamorada in the Keys.
Reviews say it starts out slow, and gets really good a few episodes in.
I just love the scenery of the Keys, so I am looking forward to that. Hoping for a good story from Coach Taylor.

Yup, I liked the first one. The scenery did not disappoint either. I could almost smell that Keys breeze in that one night shot.
I think their "resort" is actually a high end restaurant on Islamorada, right next to the World Wide Sportsman. Not sure though, been a while since I went by there.
They did a good job with the whole cast. Lots of the extras look like legit locals too. It would be really easy to put the wrong characters in there, and make it look like a bunch of tourists. Folks down there just have a certain look, and I would say they pretty much nailed it.

I am savoring the flavor. If I let my wife have her way, we will watch the whole thing in 2 days. Not my style, but nice to have the option.

Binge watched it this weekend.
Excellent show.
I wondered why he was sending money to his brother, then the end happened.
Actually took me an hour afterward to put those pieces together.
My only question was, how did the PI know the kids were lying at the end?

Season 2 is even better. Wish I didn't have to wait a year for season 3 which I guess is not certain to happen.
All my shows done for a while--Vikings, Americans, Saul, Stanley Cup playoffs. I may have to get my ass off the couch.

Yup, this series has been killing it...
Love how it just keeps pealing back layers like an onion.
Way to go Netflix!

The Rayburns...what a whacky bunch! Great characters, really disliked Kevin for the majority of the series, but found myself pulling for him halfway through this second season. I have no idea where it could possibly be headed from here, fantastic series all around

Just finished season 2. Not bad but could be way better. The biggest problem I have with this show is that I don't care about any of the characters. None have any likeable qualities. Every time there is a scene I think well that one could get offed in a car crash or murder and I wouldn't miss them at all.
That and not a single one of them have even the slightest hint of sun on them. Spacek just looks ridiculous all the time. Has anyone ever been to the Keys? You can't get away from it.
I forgot to mention: blurry objects in the foreground of every shot. Annoying.Last edited by Ripzalot; 07-09-2016 at 01:03 AM.
