    Half of the brother team that gave us Gimme Shelter. Extremely influential filmakers, I guess somewhat forgotten. Check out Grey Gardens, and the two shorter films mentioned in this obit, The Beatles in the USA, when they were allowed total access to the Beatles when they landed for their first "tour" of the US, and Meet Marlon Brando. Had the pleasure of seeing those two on a double bill recently. Watch Brando pick up a French chick in Central Park, speaking French. Pretty cool, and raw.
