nothing says "classy" like demanding public apologies AFTER a big Super Bowl win, and AFTER your star QB is seen cliff jumping and playing 1on1 with Jordan. It seems like TFB is doing just fine without the apology!?!

Also, remember when the Pats beat the Chargers in SD and danced on the 50yd line after the game? Then 10 years later when they barely won their 4th superbowl their fans bitched about the Seahawks being classless, then demanded a public apology for something that may or may not have been something (wink wink)???

Patriots dancing on the Chargers logo after beating them in a game where they publicly talked truck loads of shit pre-game has what to do with their most recent SB victory?

The NFL and many many reporters owe apologies if the Pats are exonerated in this investigation. The NFL allowed leak after leak to come out which painted the Patriots in a negative light and took no action to clarify wrong information for days after the leaks. Meanwhile, the rest of the country got whipped up into a witch hunt by the overzealous Patriots / Bellichick hating media. Therefore an apology is warranted.

In the "got screwed by the league" department, I think Saints fans are underrated. I mean, we overlook it now, but Sean Payton had to miss an ENTIRE season and it screwed up the continuity of his team not long after winning a Super Bowl. Can you imagine the reaction if the same punishment had been doled out to Belichick for SpyGate? (granted, spygate was way overblown and most people don't understand that prior to that season it was standard operating procedure for every team in the league for many years, but still....)

I think we can file the Payton suspension under "posturing that the nfl cares about players' health." There's a limit to how pissed you can get about it, because the league probably should care. But Saints fans have the right to feel annoyed about it, for sure.
