    Average VT

Despite an awesome 2 month stretch of cold and light density snow, The EC is still just around their seasonal averages. We get a good stretch every season. But this one has been exceptional. I don't know who we have to thank, Rontele for moving to the EC? Benny for finally getting out of here? Who knows, but been FKNA killer sliding in North VT:

the snow might be average, but your pictures are above and beyond average.i have had a ski pass in the MRV every year except 3 since 1973 and two of those three i had a pass at Smuggs,i would have to say that if you can get out and ski every powder day the number stays about the same every season.the big differance is what is between those days

This makes me miss the east coast. Sort of.

Awesome photos. Can't believe you're able to stop mid run and take them. I've brought the camera out, but haven't been able to stop mid run yet. When it's as good as it's been...the peak to creek runs are so quality, and so rarely this consistently good.....I just can't stop. Here's to March! Statistically our snowiest Month. Still have a few longer tours to check off this year.

What a great season. I've skied local glades in Southern VT and been blown away by the sheer quantity of pow. This was taken in friggin' central Massachusetts, of all goddamn places:

Sunday at Stowe was fantastic. Angel food trees were unreal. Considering my 1st trip to Vermont, I'll be back. The kids even got to meet Jake Burton.
