I tried on the Mach 1 130 LV yesterday. The toe box shape for the big toe and met heads is much roomier than my R9.5 110 (duh) even after extensive punching. Heel hold is not as tight as the R9.5 with Zipfits, but impressive still. Flex stiffness of the Mach 130 feels about like the R 110 in the store. Overall I was impressed. Probably the best blend of out of the box comfort and performance fit I've ever tried.
Wasatchback, you can still put tech soles on the 2016 Mach series, right? Also, do you actually live in the Wasatch back? I always see blizzard and tecnica decals on some cars in lower Silver Creek...

Nice spot. I live a little higher up in Silver Creek. We should go ski PCMR or Canyons sometime.
As far as the sole blocks go, you can still switch to tech soles on the 2016 Mach 1, yes?

No.
2016 Machs (both LV and MV) have a new sole design similar to what's on a Lange Rx. Cantology friendly.
They don't share the same sole design as the cochise any more.

I bought the 14/15 120's (wish they weren't white). Love the fit and performance, though probably could have done with the 130s. With my orthotics and toe warmers, I'm fine with the extra forefoot volume. However, after 4 days straight use last week, I am a bit alarmed at how much they have packed out, and I'm a bit concerned that they could become too large. That, and I had to have my skis re-drilled to accommodate the longer sole length. If I get into problems here, would the 15/16 130 CAS liners work to replace my current ones?

What are the differences between the 2015 Mach1 130 and the 2016 Mach 130 MV? Any info appreciated.

KBP,
In a post above, at lest one difference is the new liner is more dense; appears that pack out is an issue on the 14/15? Other differences are noted by a Tecnica rep previously in that thread.

I have about 15 days in one and the new CAS liner makes all the difference, no packing out at all so far. I buckle them in the AM and unbuckle at the end of the day. I came out of a R9.8 130 w/ a lace up.
Click. Point. Chute.

Anyone know where to buy the 15/16 100mm MV in a 130 flex?

Are 25.5's around in the US, or are those on hold until September? Not that I am in any real danger of needing it this year... but I'm probably going to drop to a 295/300mm for next year.
Also will this shell be replacing the Crush/Fling? Any chance of a MV version for women in a 265mm for the fall? With Atomic totally fucking up the Hawx and Salomon having shipping issues there was a real lack of mid volume 22.5s last fall.

25.5-28.5 MV 130s
25.5-27.5 MV 120s
25.5-27.5 MV 100s
24.5-27.5 LV 130s
25.5-27.5 LV 100s
Are all available at select retailers in the country. Some retailers might not have certain sizes but that is what was available for them to purchase.
The Crush and Fling are being replaced by the new Mach 105w LV, Mach 95w LV, Mach 85w LV. They are available in a true 22.
Unfortunately a true 22 in the MV is one year away.
I'll try and put together a post about all the new Mach models and the changes from the 14/15 Mach and r9.8 models.

Tecnica Mach 1 130 2015/2016
Phil, what was your take on 14 vs 15 shell? I need the instep size and yet was able to size down to a 25.5 in the 13/14. Liking a bunch so far.
